Karim Pierre Blanc, der 1968 im Iran geborene Franzose, lebt und arbeitet seit 12 Jahren in Wien und ist kreativer Gourmand, Maler, Illustrator und Koch.
Er wurde an den Kunstakademien in Frankreich und in Kanada ausgebildet und pendelt heute in seiner Arbeit zwischen den visuellen und kulinarischen Künsten.
Als passionierter Koch illustriert er seine eigenen Rezepte, die seiner französischer Familie sowie die Rezepte seiner Auslandsaufenthalte.

Sein visuelles und kulinarisches Interesse richtet sich stark an die Pflanzenwelt, was ihn dazu bringt, die Beziehung des Menschen zur Natur zu hinterfragen.
Er illustriert für Redaktionen, die Werbebranche und die Kunstszene, ist regelmäßig an Ausstellungen beteiligt und hat für verschiedene Magazine Beiträge verfasst.

Karim Pierre Blanc, a Frenchman born 1968 in Iran, lives and works in Vienna since 12 years.
He is a creative gourmand, painter, illustrator and chef. Trained at the Beaux-Arts in France and at the Art University of Canada.
Today his work oscillates between visual and culinary arts, according to projects and seasons.

A passionate cook, he illustrates his own recipes, those of his family as well as his collected recipes of his travels.
Visually and culinary, his interest is mainly focused on plant life,  consequently exploring humanity in relationship with nature. 
He illustrates for editorial offices, advertising industry and the art scene, he is regularly involved in exhibitions and has contributed to various magazines.
